Cenotaph for the soldiers from Hasselbach who fell in the Wars of Unification in 1866 (German War, also Prussian-Austrian War) and 1870/71 (Franco-German War). It was originally located at the Limburger Strasse / In Switzerland intersection.

Hiking
Erected to commemorate the fallen soldiers of the wars of 1866 and 1871/72. A widespread historicist monument type with variable details. The memorial, which is now centrally positioned in a complex created during the village renovation (“Memorial Square”), originally stood prominently on the corner of Limburger Strasse and Alte Gasse.
