In terms of size, the Market Square in Wrocław is one of the largest markets in Poland (right after Olecko, Latowicz, Kraków and Tarnogród). When entering the market square, the first thing you notice is the beautiful, Gothic Town Hall. The Town Hall in Wrocław is an extremely unique building, if only due to the fact that few buildings that fulfilled an administrative function from the Middle Ages have survived to this day. It is worth going inside the building - there is the City Museum with an interesting and diverse list of exhibits and the Hall of Famous Wrocław People. In front of the Town Hall there is a monument of the comedy writer Aleksander Fredro, brought from Lviv after World War II. A walk around the Town Hall in Wrocław means looking for interesting details placed on the building's facade. Going this way, we will reach Pręgierz - a place that has certainly seen a lot.
