Today, Hahnenhorn is part of Müden (Aller), but it used to be part of Hohne (LK Celle).
In the center of the village, a neat building with a bell tower is reminiscent of a former large estate. Only this so-called gatehouse and a pond behind it reveal the approximate structure of the old property.
The tower is adorned with a wind vane in the form of a 'black grouse', the coat of arms of Hahnenhorn.
Opposite the building, a newly created large children's playground (even with a water pump) and seating there invites you to take a break!
