This fresco was created as part of the urban art and street art festival in the city of Calais organized in 2021 by Les Ateliers du Graff.Jean Rooble is part of the collective “Les Frères Coulures”. He is an artist from Bordeaux who has a hyperrealistic artistic universe. He works around the chiaroscuro technique halfway between illustration and realism. His works focus on universal and humanist themes.He offers us a photorealistic portrait, that of Bastien, a young man whom he has already painted in the past.This fresco replaces that of Ludo Lassalle, which caused a bit of ink to flow locally (photos Sept 2021).
