    Free parking and mural in Doesburg

    This street art project refers to the past of the Hanseatic city of Doesburg. People who are familiar with Doesburg will immediately think of the large parking lot when entering Doesburg over the IJssel bridge when they hear the word de Bleek. In the past, this was not far from the place where women from Doesburg would go with their linen to dry it. The sunlight ‘bleached’ the laundry. The theme of the mural is “bleaching: a window into the past”. It is a creative interpretation of the Doesburg of the past and the Doesburg of today. The street art was created by the Doesburg artist Rosalie de Graaf (1999), better known as RoosArt.
