The Monastery of Sant Miquel del Fai is one of the most surprising must-sees for those who pass through Barcelona. It is located just 50 kilometers from the Catalan capital and is one of those places that you fall in love with. The church, on top of a mountain and suspended over the cliff (it seems magic), leaves one of the most special visions of the Catalan mountain range. A hidden treasure known to few, located in the middle of a beautiful natural environment near the town of Bigues i Riells.

You can reach a really nice photo spot by crossing a tiny bridge over the river Rossinyol. From there you have a great view over the monastery, the waterfall and the valley.
