The master house was built in 1834 as a tannery and is located in the Marktredwitz district of Dörflas on the Benker site.
The mechanical colored weaving mill Johann Benker KG was founded in Dörflas in 1812. Between 1872 and 1910, an extensive factory complex was built in several construction phases, which at times provided work for more than 1000 people. The master weavers lived in the house at the time and gave it its name. The master's house was extensively renovated for the garden show in 2006 and is now a restaurant.
