Hiking
It describes the former quarrying work in the region, where stones were hewn from the rock without machines, using only hammers and chisels. This work was extremely physically demanding, dangerous, and poorly paid. It shaped the lives and landscape of the area for many generations. Only in the 20th century did machines make the work easier. The panel serves as a reminder of how hard people had to work for their livelihood in the past.
