Lompret is a picturesque village in the Belgian province of Hainaut and a sub-municipality of the city of Chimay. It is known as one of the Most Beautiful Villages of Wallonia. The village is special because of its location around a meander of the Eau Blanche river and its historic feudal castle. The architecture in Lompret is mainly from the 18th and 19th centuries, which gives the village an authentic and charming appearance.

A striking feature of Lompret is the 19th century bridge, as well as the rich religious heritage that deserves the attention of visitors. The village is also surrounded by beautiful nature, including numerous yew trees, which are quite rare in Belgium.
