Information:
First mentioned in 1456 as "Mill in the Valley," it likely owes its current name to a former tenant named Teuffel. The mill is said to have been in operation until 1932. After it ceased operation, the old mill building and all its equipment fell into disrepair. In 1972, the waterwheel was removed, and the mill equipment and building were demolished. Following reconstruction and renovation, the tavern reopened in 1988 and is now run by the third generation of the same family.
