Viewed up close, it looks a bit "run down"

The building complex of the former provost's office, which belonged to the Neuhof caste office, was expanded in 1570/73. It consists of four two-storey wings covered with gable roofs, which rise at the corners to form three-storey towers covered with pyramid roofs and are grouped around a courtyard. In the middle of three wings there is another tower covered with a pyramid roof.

A former moated castle, a two-story, four-winged complex surrounding a rectangular courtyard. Tent-roof turrets are located at the corners and in the center of the wings. The courtyard features wooden galleries on the upper floor and a stone bridge over a dry moat. Neuhof was a new settlement for the later-decayed village of Zennhausen and belonged to Heilsbronn Monastery. The castle was the seat of the monastery's bailiff.
