At this point the views of the Caldera Dde Taburiente are covered by the pine trees, you have benches in the shade where you can sit, you can also access several viewpoints on foot once you have passed the vehicles in the parking lot. But the best thing is if you climb the little mountain that is behind the banks (closed by a small fence) and you will have spectacular views towards the Barranco de Teniscle pass, Pico Corralejo and Pico de la Ovejas.

Nice little parking lot as a starting point for short hikes to the viewpoints. Since the number of parking spaces is limited up here, you have to reserve a time period in which you want to go there in advance (preferably online) at the visitor center. From up here you also have a good view of the central mountain range of the island and the “cloud waterfalls” that appear there every now and then.
