San Pedro de Tiquina is the central town of the municipality of San Pedro de Tiquina in the province of Manco Kapac. The town is located at an altitude of 3,846 m on the southwest shore of the 800 m wide Strait of Tiquina, which connects the north and south parts of Lake Titicaca.
