The house was built before 1400 and expanded over time into the current complex. The manor house was likely added in the 15th century, and the dovecote was built in 1661. The farmhouse and manor house were restored in 1979, the dovecote in 1981. The building was mentioned as early as the 14th century as the property of Jan van Derentheren and his children.
