Tips
The Dommel flows from Belgium at the village of Borkel en Schaft into our country. The stream takes you right through the different landscapes of the Dommeldal. Discover remnants of a bygone era. Such as the Venbergse water mill in Valkenswaard, the Volmolen in Riethoven, the floodplains of De Plateaux and the fish ponds at the Liskes in Bergeijk. Be amazed by the Brabant landscape. In the Middle Ages, farmers worked together here to cultivate fields and meadows, to fence off hedgerows and to pollard willows.
