After the floods in 1983, the old town was rehabilitated and is now one of the most important commercial and leisure centres in Bilbao. The pedestrian streets alternate between classic shops and more innovative ones, as well as numerous bars and restaurants where you can enjoy the best of Basque gastronomy.
