A quiet hinterland connection between Meckenbeuren-Lochbrücke and Eriskirch via the Schussen and Baumgarten roads west of the Schussen River, through orchards and hop gardens with views to the south of the Alps. Halfway along the route, you'll find the Brenner-Stube restaurant (check opening hours!) in Unterbaumgarten. In Oberbaumgarten, you can cross over to the eastern bank of the Schussen River via a historic wooden bridge.
