Now a hotel, but in the 17th and 18th centuries this was a Jesuit church.
It was part of a larger complex, which included a college, where, according to the rules of that time, students had to speak Latin, not only with their teachers, but also among themselves.
In 1794-1795 this college disappeared, like almost all institutions of the Ancien Régime.
After its deconsecration at the end of the 19th century, the church served as a gendarmerie barracks, a primary school and a fire station.
In 1989, the city of Marche sold this building to the current owners.
