The Wildberg Martinskirche was built in 1467 as a three-aisled basilica. It was built by a renowned Stuttgart architect, Aberlin Jörg, who also designed the three Stuttgart inner-city churches. The fact that the remote Württemberg border town of Wildberg could afford such a famous architect is an indication of the above-average willingness to donate. Various eras have also left their mark since then. This can be seen, for example, in modern church windows by Willy Widmann: the "Martinsfenster" (1979), the "Jerusalemsfenster" (1976) and the "Die Fußwaschung" (2004) window. The "Resurrectionfenster" from 1934 was created by the artist Walter Kohler.
