Built in the early 20th century, the former Forte Bazzera powder magazine was part of a larger defense system for the Venice lagoon. Once abandoned, it fell into disuse until its restoration in the 1990s.
Today, it is a wonderful green space managed by a cultural and recreational committee. Among other things, it hosts the famous "Sagra dea Sbrisa."
