Villa Grock, former residence of the famous Swiss Grock, now houses a clown museum. We particularly liked the old recordings of the performances of the gifted artist, who played 15 instruments, composed solo pieces for accordion and piano and spoke 6 languages fluently.
His expressive facial expressions, his infectious laughter, his self-irony with the very acrobatic slapstick and the very well integrated musical genius into his numbers are still unique today.

The villa is very opulent and Grock implemented his ideas beautifully architecturally. The beautiful park with its fountain and various “garden houses” are also worth a visit.

You can currently visit the villa and the clown museum almost every day. The opening times can be found at museodelclown.it
