The former grave cross is a 1.60 m high wooden cross with a gable roof and a sculpted head of Christ, which is framed by sun rays in the corners of the cross. The sun is a symbol of the risen Christ. A wooden plaque bears the dates 1924 and 1994. The cross stands on a brick stone base and was erected in this place by the village community of Venrath in 1994.
