GP 8 is located on the eastern bank of the Geul (just where the campsite starts and well hidden in the hedge), one of the many rivers in Voeren and is also the last of the long series of border posts between Gemmenich ( B ) and Vaals ( NL ) . On the Belgian side we now arrive in Sippenaeken. The name suggests Flemish, but nothing could be further from the truth. Sippenaeken belongs to the province of Liège and is therefore Walloon.
