The stream rises southwest of the hamlet of Camerig on the western slope of the Plateau of Vijlen in the Geul valley. From the source, the stream runs in a westerly direction. After about 350 metres, the stream flows into the Geul between the Lingbergbeek and the Terzieterbeek near the hamlet of Plaat.
