Very nice, narrow path through the forest and over gravel fields with a great view up to the Schneeberg. We had a few fallen trees on the path, but it was easy to get through them by avoiding them or going over or under them.

Hiking
A strenuous trail, it is about 6.5km long, constantly going up and down 10m over high stone and root steps. You have to expect 3-4 hours to reach the Baumgartnerhütte, depending on your speed. It is exhausting, but nice because of the originality. Very beautiful views. We were completely alone the entire length.
