A spectacular natural canopy shaped by selective erosion over thousands of years by water, ice, and wind: only the base of the rock, composed of gray limestone, has been eroded, while the harder, red ammonite upper layer has remained virtually intact. You pass right underneath it, walking the Bìsele Trail along the Ghelpach Valley, wondering how this enormous overhang can hold up, defying the laws of gravity!
