Flavio 🥾🚲

Beautiful loop on the Berici Hills, perhaps made in the most beautiful time of the year; when the scents of spring blooms fill the air and green has definitively taken the place of dull winter hues. Not to mention that the temperature is perfect.

The excursion is entirely between 150 and 300 meters above

It is a magnificent complex of waterfalls with a total drop of 165 m, made in 3 large leaps.

They are artificial waterfalls, meaning they were created by diverting the Velino and Nera rivers, and as artificial ones, they are the highest in Europe. This diversion is timed in two slots, one in the late

Civita di Bagnoregio is world-renowned for its beauty and fragility: it is situated on a block of ancient clay which, due to collapses and weather events, causes landslides that gradually reduce the original inhabited core. It is connected by a single steep pedestrian bridge with a toll for the numerous

Orvieto rises on a huge tuff block with often vertical perimeter walls overlooking the underlying valley of the Tiber and the Paglia stream. The entire historic center is on the summit platform of this block, at about 300m altitude. The excursion consists of a loop that, crossing the narrow medieval

The Appian Way is among the most important works of Roman engineering. It connected Rome with Capua and later all the way to Brindisi.

There are some still present and well-preserved sections, like the one that is the subject of this excursion. It is southeast of Rome, inside the Grande Raccordo Anulare

Second day of walking through the historic center of Rome to visit the points of interest that we couldn't cover yesterday.

We started with a visit to the imposing Basilica of St. Peter, a treasure trove, the cradle of Christianity, and a grandiose construction inside which one truly feels small. The

Short walk in the historic center of Assisi, with a visit first to the basilica of Santa Chiara and then to the basilica of San Francesco, upper and lower. They are places of deep religious, historical and artistic interest.
