The Court Church, preserved as a late Renaissance building, is Mannerist and still the true jewel of the square today. It was built in 1579/80. Details of this distinguished architectural style, such as Ionic columns and Corinthian capitals, are clearly visible inside the church. The sgraffito plaster has been reapplied to the west side of the church. The south-facing, single-nave, steeply erected, narrow church building is attached directly to the palace and thus does not have its own facade. The church can be entered either through an entrance in the archway of the original palace building or directly on the east side through a simple and straightforward entrance.
