The friend who told you the story about the flak tower is mistaken!
This building was actually built to supply winegrowers with spray liquid for their vineyards.
Similar buildings exist or existed in Armsheim and Rommersheim, among other places.
All are located on the outskirts of the village on the main road to the vineyards.
Perhaps an anti-aircraft gunner barricaded himself there during World War II.
Due to its lightweight construction, that was certainly not a good idea.
In any case, it can't be called a bunker.
