Cycling
The rampart and tower hill castle (motte) before the 8th - 11th centuries already existed here near the forest. Schonebeck Castle was first mentioned in 1270. In the 1400s, the office building of the cathedral chapter was built in the northwestern part of the enclosed district in the form of a French fort-type complex, which is now actually called the Groß-Schonebeck house. Unfortunately the house -Schonebeck is PRIVATE and cannot be seen!!
(There is a cycling highlight nearby where the moats of the hill fort can be seen.)
