Hiking
Construction began in 1569; there was no predecessor building. The reason for building a separate church lay in the Reformation in the Electorate of Hanover, as the neighboring town of Beverungen, with its old parish church, belonged to the Prince-Bishopric of Paderborn and remained Catholic.
The church was extended to the east in 1664, and a tower was added to the west side in 1783.
The interior was modernized in 1962. Only an old baptismal font from 1582 remains.
