Coming from the east, two white statues, Diana on the left and that of a faun on the right, mark the entrance to the forest of Sieglitzer Park. These motifs, which go back to ancient models, refer to hunting, the original purpose of the area.

The figures were unfortunately badly damaged some time ago, but have now been restored. The faun—or is it Pan himself?—is back on its pedestal, and Diana has gotten her arm back. You can step onto the dike for a photo, but please do not drive on it; instead, take the paved road to Vockerode.
