A special exhibit is the restored Junkers Ju 52/3m. The aircraft has remained largely in its original condition, as it sank during the Second World War after an emergency landing on the ice in Hartvikvatnet near Narvik and was raised relatively unscathed in 1986.[2] In 1995 she managed to return to Dessau. In exchange, a MiG-21PFM (tactical number: NVA 891 / Bw 22+37) was delivered to Norway. This aircraft now belongs to the “Norwegian Armed Forces Museum / Forsvarsmuseet” in Oslo and is used, for example. Not currently on display.
