Hiking

The Luftwaffenmunitionsanstalt 2 / VI (short Muna: Appendix 2 in Luftgau VI in Münster) is located south of the city of Xanten on the heights of the Hees, a forested foothills of a terminal moraine of the penultimate cold period. Construction began in 1938 and was operated until 1944. Large parts of the buildings and facilities are still preserved as ruins in the forest today.
