The City Museum Klausen with its collections is located in the former Capuchin monastery of Klausen, which goes back to a foundation of the Spanish Queen Maria Anna (1667-1740). This includes the unique Loreto treasure with precious individual pieces from all over Europe. Another focal point of the permanent exhibition is the Klausner Artists' Colony (1874-1914) with its well-known representative Alexander Koester. With five special exhibitions a year, the Museum Gallery offers a varied program.
