Mylius Eriksen statue
This great statue of Mylius Eriksen stands next to Ringkøbing Museum. Mylius Eriksen was leader of the famous Greenland Expedition 1902-04. In 1906-07 he again led an expedition to the northeastern part of Greenland. Mylius Eriksen and other members of the expedition died in November 1907. All that was found was a body and a diary detailing the fate of the crew.
