The fireguard south of Grafwegen has been built to oversee the forest in dry periods. The pine and spruce stands are very sensitive to fire and in case of fire, large stocks can be destroyed in a relatively short time. This tower was first entered on the topographic map of 1967. Today, the fire tower looks no longer used.
