The Protestant-Lutheran St. Mary's Church, whose nave is made of Feldsteinmauerwerk, received its present form in the 14th century. The architectural style can still be attributed to the Romanesque era. In the 17th or 18th century, the roof truss was erected with the wooden tonneau roof. The west porch was built in the 19th century and the stems on the north side around the turn of the 20th century. The church has a freestanding wooden belfry with clock on the north and west sides. The tower had to be moved in 1969 because of the construction of the highway Celle - Wittingen by a few meters. It houses three bronze bells from 1953. The old bell from the year 1465 got a jump in 1952.
