Age: early 18th century.
Note: According to Ernst Pfister, Frankish pilgrims should always have moved past the Frankenmarter to Gößweinstein.
Description: 275cm high / sandstone. High rectangular pedestal (75x52x52cm) with four empty cartridge fields. Pillar (100cm) below and above with ring beads. Capital (20x37x35cm) decorated with corner coins. Lantern (50x36x36cm) with four rectangular picture niches, in front: Jesus with the crown of thorns, the three other sides without pictures but with four dowel holes each. On the tent roof: stone cross (30x25cm) with shamrock ends.
