🌁The Moselle Valley Bridge
is the crossing of the federal highway 61 over the Moselle🌊 and at the same time connects the Hunsrück⛰️ with the Eifel⛰️.
The highway bridge is located between the communities of Dieblich and Winningen. The Moselle Valley Bridge was built between 1969 and 1972.
It is a steel beam bridge with foundations of five pillars and two reinforced concrete abutments.
The bridge is 935 meters long and 30.5 meters wide. The maximum height of the roadway above ground is 136 meters.
Due to its location and construction, the Moselle Valley Bridge is the second highest highway bridge in Germany🇩🇪.

(The highest highway bridge in Germany is in Baden-Württemberg -
in Geislingen am Kocher. At 185.50 meters high, the Kocher Valley Bridge is higher than the second-placed Moselle Valley Bridge.)
