Winningen is a typical wine village on the Moselle. In autumn (end of August) a big Moselfest takes place, where the wine flows from the well. It is the oldest winegrower festival in Germany. The place is an ideal starting point for beautiful walks through the vineyards. There is also a detailed wine trail.
