In the 1820s, General von Witzleben acquired the area around the Lietzensee and had a large park and country house laid out on the west side. After his death, it was given the name Park Witzleben by cabinet order in 1840.

Many old and mighty trees (including plane trees) characterize the park. In between there are a few sculptures, numerous benches and some special trees, such as a plum tree. You can do your laps here.
Really nice for running or just walking.

The Lietzenseepark with the eponymous Lietzensee is located in Berlin's district Charlottenburg. In the park, runners can do their laps or integrate the park into a longer running track.
