The Marienborn Monastery was a Cistercian monastery founded in Lippramsdorf in 1230 by Bishop Ludolf von Holte.[1] It was moved to Coesfeld in 1244. The monastery existed there until it was closed in 1805. The last buildings were demolished in 1936.
