The Big Tower, also called Dirloser Warte, is located in the Dirlos district in the Dicker Turm residential area. With a height of 14 m, it is the highest of the surviving waiting towers in the Fulda district. From here you have a fantastic view of the entire Fulda region. Boards with dates and explanations provide information and help with orientation.

The watch towers in the Fulda district are a number of watch towers in the area of the old Fulda district. The (presumably) formerly nine towers were used for observation and have a largely uniform design. Today five towers are almost completely preserved, two of which are in their original condition and three have been converted into observation towers.
