What I can't understand, however, is that everything from cigarette butts to cans, including plastic bags, is thrown away there 🥴
That makes me incredibly sad. I understand why more and more dunes and plants are being cordoned off with stakes and ropes.
This is my message to everyone who vacations there:
Respect this unique natural environment and take all your trash with you❗
