A total of 10 wind turbines were built on the ridge of the Sailershausen Forest.

The wind turbines are arranged in a row following the height gradient, with the distance from wind turbine to wind turbine being approx. 400 m and the distance from the first to the last wind turbine being approx. 3.6 km. The locations are located in the so-called reserved area “WK63” (formerly WK88 “west of Kleinmünster”) of the currently valid regional plan for the Main-Rhön planning region, to which the Ladnkreis Haßberg belongs.
