The special factory for biscuits, rusks, gingerbread, waffles, chocolates, stollen, Baumkuchen, cakes and ice cream is one of the most traditional companies in Stolberg and the surrounding area, it was founded in 1891 by Friedrich Wilhelm Witte.

Friedrich Wilhelm Witte opened a small pastry shop on April 30, 1891 at Niedergasse 21 in Stolberger. In the decades that followed, success grew and the company expanded. In 1926, production started in a new factory building with a large furnace. An own power and gas generation plant even supplied the Central German region. In 1972 the company was expropriated. A good 20 years later, in 1993, the reprivatization was completed - biscuit production had come to a standstill in the meantime. Since then there has been a small café and a factory outlet in Stolberg again.

You have to look at it. And take a sample home with you. Tastes very good. Absolute recommendation
