Hiking
Waidelich See has an eventful past. In earlier times, the ice that was removed here in blocks was used to cool the brewing cellars in the local inns and breweries. The water had previously been used to make bricks in the brick meadows. For many years the lake lay deserted, almost completely silted up on the outskirts of the town, until it was restored to the way we can experience it today. An important biotope for animals and plants of all kinds.
