The chapel St. Wendelin was built in 1683 and was commissioned by Karl Dietrich d.J.v. Gemmingen been equipped. 1740 was a first renovation. In 1935 the antependium picture of the high altar was stolen. At the end of World War II the chapel was badly damaged. In the 1960s, the remaining images of the altar structure disappeared with its carved palm fronds and sunflowers. What remained is the beautiful location of the hall-like, semicircular chapel building with its characteristic wooden canopy over the west entrance.
