In addition to the "cubes and trees," the artist also erected the so-called "wood watchers," which, in three red-painted modules with a solar-powered light installation in the cubic superstructure, resemble a hybrid of research station and forestry lookout.

The three architectural sculptures stand on stilt-like legs that extend beyond the boxes, each with four window openings, transform into antennas—thus creating a connection between heaven and earth. The placement is such that the hiking and cycling path leads through the entire ensemble, making the viewer part of this semi-natural, elemental, semi-technoid, constructed environment. Schrader has already created a similar group of sculptures in Japan.
